My mother would disown me if she saw the list of things I’d be willing to do for the chance at 15 minutes alone with the lead singer of The Sounds. I’m just saying, the things wouldn’t be good. At all. Whatever you think is the worst thing ever, I’d be willing to do that. Probably twice.
My mother would probably pass out before she even got through the first thing on the list. It would be that bad. But the chick is indeed that hot. And she says adorable things like “I want to be the best singer around…or at least this century.” At least I’d tell her it was adorable. Mostly I’d try to get her to sing to me.
That being said – I’m apparently only listening to Swedish artists right now. Probably because Sweden doesn’t let anything out of their country that isn’t perfect. I don’t know what drugs they put in the river water over there, but any country that comes up with ABBA, Volvos, tons of hot chicks, Ikea, meatballs AND the Sounds… all with a population of 9 million? That’s a million less than L.A. by the way. I want those drugs. Wouldn’t you?
The Sounds are playing a show on July 30th at the Key Club. It’s sold out though. So that’s neat. Do you know what else is neat? When people send you free tickets. No one has sent me any yet, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.* They’re playing in Santa Barbara on August 7th with No Doubt. That apparently is not sold out… yet. But go fast.
