In the days before the internet-sphere people passed music around on shiny discs that go fucking crazy if you try to melt them in a microwave (spoiler alert!). Before that, people passed around music on tapes. And if you listened to them enough, you could literally wear out the tape. I kid you not! Sounds pretty insane right? Well the first three mix tapes I ever got were peppered with Lemonheads songs. It was the only music I was listening to that wasn’t off my cellular transistor radio that I built for the science fair in the third grade. I think I could have listened to anything on the stereo quality of the tape cassette player I got for my 29th birthday and I would have been in love with it. Thus I’m blinded to how good the Lemonheads actually are. They’re playing at Spaceland on Tuesday. I have Space Camp the next day though so my mom said I have to be in bed by 8pm other wise I would totally be there. Mom says if I do an awesome job at Space Camp that I can extend my bedtime by 20 minutes. Cool! Fuck man, I’m so in love with the 90’s it’s not even funny. I’m not looking forward to the 90’s being popular in that ironic way like the 80’s did. This isn’t irony! This is just rad.
