You know what sucks? When your favorite band plays at a venue that seems to blow goats as its livelihood. Watered down drinks are $14 (hey fuck you Staples Center).*

You know what else sucks? When awesome venues have bad music (drinks better be 5 dollars because they can’t come fast enough to drown out the horrible sounds).

You know what fucking rocks? Oh I know you know where this is going. When amazing venues have amazing acts. If you’re dense and didn’t check out the title – Lady Danville is playing at Hotel Cafe this upcoming Tuesday (8.25.09) at 9pm. This falls under the category of great acts at great venues. If you don’t know about Hotel Cafe let me be the one to drop the truth bomb that it’s fucking awesome. There isn’t a bad seat in the house. Not to mention you’ll probably get to touch the music rock stars if you really want.**

I’d recommend hitting this show on Tuesday. I’ll be there. I’ll finally be on the left coast at the right time. Go spin this shiz. Sophia Roux makes me wish I had paid attention in French class. Well – I never actually took French class. I was busy falling asleep in fucking Spanish class. Hit me up with a translation. Somebody. Please.
