Sarah Palin, again.

Regrettably, Sarah Palin sort of has an autobiography out. I say ’sort of’ because the consensus is that it’s so full of errors that it borders on fiction and she certainly didn’t write it herself. I am pretty publicly unfriendly towards the honorable Mrs. Palin and wish her the opposite of success in all of her endeavors, but since she’s not a recording artist I’ve refrained from talking about her here. ‘Til now, bitches. I came across a delightfully savage review on Gin and Tacos and tweeted it,* and the Hon. Rev. Dr. A. C. Morse III, Esq. said the office is abuzz about it so I thought I’d sum it up here. The most awesome baseball-bat-to-the-teeth quote is as follows:

Millions of copies will be sold of a book written by someone who can’t write, intended for an audience that doesn’t read, about the thoughts of a person who doesn’t think. God is dead.

OH SHIT! OOHHHH SHIT! Oh no he didn’t! But he did. The full review is here. I gotta say, I saw it on Reddit and skimmed the rest of the blog, and I liked it so much I RSS-ed it. That’s the web 2.0 seal of approval.

In other news, I have been informed that VEGA, who I mentioned in the Hood Internet post, is actually Neon Indian. Sweet, really? This is what I keep saying about artists using pseudonyms; it makes it way too hard for your fans to find you when you release new stuff. Here’s some Neon Indian for your trouble.

“Going Rogue is not without merit. It certainly delivers what its intended audience wants. Readers who already like Palin will love it, much as America’s pedophiles will find the latest Jonas Brothers DVD to their liking.”

As a pedophile, I should disclose that I really enjoy the Jonas Brothers

As a compulsive liar, I should disclose that the preceding statement was completely truthful.

dude, I don’t even think the Jonas Brothers merit pedophiles’ attention. they are as annoying and mind-numbingly boring as televangelists.

Sarah Palin, on the other hand, I appreciate for the extensive amount of great SNL material she provides without even trying. Gotta love a politician like that.
