The first thing I noticed was the drop dead gorgeous chick.
She was holding a video camera.
Standing in the crowd at the Hollywood Farmers market I thought to myself…
Damn girl you look good in those jeans.
…And I like the way your curves hug those seams.
She was hot…what can I say?
My keen instincts always lead me to notice these types of things (Hot chicks). What my not so keen instincts had failed to notice, was WHY she was staring intently into the back of a camcorder.
It was the group of men that she was following. Presumably some sort of ‘musical act’. I mean they were only carrying: a trombone, a drum kit, two trumpets, and an accordion. These types of things rarely get noticed in large crowds. I’m sure of it. Upon realizing that she was following/videotaping a band, my interest quickly switched to the band. I mean if I got paid to write about all the hot ladies in my life, I would just publish my journal…but because of a court order via the C.I.A I’m not allowed to. Red tape, you know how it is.

They are called The Blasting Company and they are freaking awesome. After taking roughly 300 photos I chatted with the Trombone/Drum/Trumpet player (oh he sings too) for a minute…and he gave me the wonderful news that they play EVERY Sunday. They generally show up between 12 and 1. They play in between Selma and Sunset on Ivar. I had to run out early before I got to really grill them for info. But don’t worry, I will eventually. Until I do… watch this video…and don’t worry about sending me a thank you email. I’m just going to assume I made your fucking day.
