Trouble Andrew is playing at the Avalon next Saturday (8.1.09) @ 7:00pm. He played at the Hollywood bowl recently with Santo(i)[a]gold. This time he’s back with N*E*R*D. These are the first two tracks off his self-titled album “Trouble Andrew” which you can get here. Bang Bang rocks Santigolds voice in a whole new trip which I just can’t get enough of. If you like music that isn’t for losers, this shit might be up your alley. Chasing money and making guns go bang bang. The fucking breakfast of champions if you ask me.

Pharrell is obviously in N*E*R*D. I think he makes beats or something for them. This track is off his first solo album. I used to listen to the first 45 seconds of this on loop for hours at a time. Those beats are deep. I tried to touch one once. It was just like the time my dad stuck my hand in a fire. I cried. He said “Hot huh?” I never fucked with fire again.

Gwen Stefani is featured on the track and as I previously mentioned – No Doubt will be headlining for the upcoming The Sounds shows. It’s almost like all of these people know each other. This song also mentions Nelly Furtado – who, no joke, I’d be willing to push my entire family off a plank into shark infested waters with blood dripping all over them just for the chance to say “Hey I think you’re hot” to. Oh man, I wish I was kidding about that. It works every time though. It’s like a secret weapon I have! Hahaha!
