I bet pretty high. But panama red, what if I told you that “Not only is this movie a ’space wrestling’ movie but it’s called ‘Blood Circus’” what would happen to your excitement level then? Tripled you say? Nay, squared! You’d probably want to skip my well-made breakfast and head straight to the VHS player to check it out. Kids: VHS players are how we used to watch Blu-ray movies. You’d have to go watch it on VHS of course because Blood Circus hasn’t been released on DVD. When your movie hasn’t been released on DVD by the time DVD is an outdated format… it’s safe to say it’s pretty important. Important enough to make someone change their name 20+ years after it was made? Oh I’d submit yes on that survey question.
You’re really in luck my friend. There is a movie called Blood Circus. It is indeed a Space Wrestling movie (Fun Google term alert!) and the main character of course was named Santo Gold. So naturally 20+ years later he sued the new Santogold because he thought it would be better for her career if her name was actually Santigold or something similar. All I know is if you google santogold you can’t find that dude anywhere and I don’t know if that will change anytime soon. June 21st Sant [ i | a | o ] gold and Trouble Andrew will be playing at the Hollywood Bowl with some other randoms. Hahaha! (Do you like what I did there? I brought it back. I learned that from Eddie Murphy in Delirious…not Eddie Murphy in Imagine That though.) Imagine that. Hahaha! Trouble Andrew is really good at music too. Kind of.
