It was only two weeks ago that my co-conspirator, Mr. Adam C. Morse, belatedly announced his discovery of Australian multimedia artist Pogo’s “Alice” track. It turns out that lightning can, in fact, strike twice. In fact, it struck one dude seven times back in the days of World Wars and the Red Scare. What does this have to do with Pogo? Absolutely nothing, but you can thank me when you mention this fun fact at your next dinner soirĂ©e.
In his latest remix, Pogo takes on 1991’s “Hook”. If watching this video doesn’t take you back to the days of wood paneling, Tang, and Nintendos in your friends’ basements, then you obviously never truly experienced the magic of this film. Watch the video, tap your feet, and let out a resounding “BANGARANG!”
